How to Make Wind Chimes from a Can and Plastic Spoon.

by Jam
You can make wind chimes from various reused materials in your own home, tin can , old bottle, plastic bottle, silverware, rings etc. whatever you can find and design your own!
I already have the vegetable can and many plastic spoons so I use them.

Wind Chimes from a Can and Plastic Spoon.

Use any size can you prefer, but I want to make a small wind chime
with only 4 plastic spoon so I choose this small can.
Remove the lid from the can and poke a hole in the top.
If you want to decorate the can. Paint it in this step as you prefer.

Plastic Spoon
Instead using a drill, I use a Jigsaw Blades saw two sides of spoon for string each spoon.

Poke a hole in the center of the bottom of the can.
Then poke 4 holes in the edges of the bottom of the can.
I hit the nail from outer perimeter of the can bottom through inside,
prepare for tie the string.

Then thread the string in the center hole for hang this wind chime.
Attach the lid as a chime in the middle. Add 4 plastic spoons around the lid.
Make the strings different lengths as you want but still balance.

Make sure the spoons can dangle and hit the lid thoroughly.
You can add more spoons or change to others reused object you have.
Adjust the objects on the chime as necessary
or change and experiment until it sounds just as you like.

My second wind chime made from plastic bottle, cap and lid of can.

Top of wind chime made from bottom of plastic bottle.

Make any changes or design your own wind chime!
Add beads and ornamental as desire
